Gillis LeBlanc, 87 of Memramcook East, NB, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2002 at the Dr.Georges-L Dumont Hospital after a sudden illness.

 Gillis LeBlanc Born May 10, 1915, son of the late Edouard Y. LeBlanc and Marie-Blanche Dupuis, he was a retired self- employed truck driver.

He is survived by his wife Violette (Landry) LeBlanc: four daughters, Rosanna LeBlanc of Memramcook East, Claudette (Edmour) Bourque of Belliveau Village, Liliette (Léonard) Bourque of Beaumont, Aline Gowlett of Sault St-Marie, ON; four sons, Fernand (Lucille) LeBlanc of Fox Creek, Roger (Rachel) LeBlanc of Memramcook East, Charles-Henri (Denise) LeBlanc of Old Shediac Road, Michel (Annette) LeBlanc of Memramcook East; two brothers, Camille (late Yvonne) LeBlanc of Memramcook East, George (Stella) LeBlanc, of Memramcook Lake; 16 grandchildren: three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Corinne; four brothers, Philippe, Alban, Yvet, Philias.

Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home with the funeral to be held at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East on Monday July 1, 2002 at 7pm. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
